Austin HoughAustin Hough - Candidate for State Representative, District 85 (2004)
Austin serves as a trustee of the Fountaindale Public Library. He was previously the Illinois Libertarian Party State Chair, and is a regional rep. for the National party. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, married for 10 years, has three sons, and resides in Bolingbrook.

"With the sad state of affairs in Springfield, now more than ever, the citizens of Illinois are searching for an alternative to the two 'power parties'. My goal is to offer the citizens a candidate whose ideology is rooted in ethics, not politics."

Austin ran for State Senate district 43 in the last election, but was knocked off the ballot by supporters of the Democratic candidate through petition challenges.

Eric Ferguson Eric Ferguson, was the candidate for Illinois Representative in district 85 in 2002:
Eric is a resident of Lockport, Married for 9years with two children. He graduated from Lockport High School and attended Joliet Junior College. Eric is employed as a broadcast transmitter engineer and has been in broadcasting since 1989. He is an area native and has lived in Lockport and Homer townships for most of his life and now resides in the city of Lockport. He is the current president of the Will County LP. Eric has been following politics for many years, regularly writes our legislators, letters to the editor, and editorials for web news services. He realized at a young age as he began getting involved in city politics and their budgets that the 'power parties' were not concerned with the issues and the citizens, and that they were only in office for their own personal gain.
